I'm not sure whether it's wrong, but under the entry section of the contest details it says entrys must be posted between March 1st and March 15th. Did you mean January 1st, and March 15th?

The idea is that builds can start anytime after the FBTB contest closes, but that they shouldn't be posted *here* as an entry until March 1st.

That gives February as building time - and two weeks to submit after that.

I liked the dynamic of the "delayed entry" in the FBTB contest, so I thought I'd try it out this time. From what I saw, it encouraged people share and improve their entries a bit before submission - a win/win in my eyes.

ive got an entry sorted, but the screen from LDD is kinda stretched to the correct size.

Steampunk eh? That might be a bit hard for my tiny Lego Collection. But, I'll try!

Oh darn, I thought we could enter our creations n Febrary first... So I hurried and built mine already.

Oh well, I guess that give me a head start to perfect it =)
I think its really neat that your having this contest!

Excellent... I really like the thinking here. The FBTB contest was great, but it was difficult for people with smaller collections to amass enough pipes, gears, etc. (For 'people with smaller collections', read 'me'. ;) ) Now, one doesn't need to own 50,000 LEGO binoculars to make a small model, but it's still a good ol' challenge to condense as much Steampunkery goodness as you can into 50 pieces.

I say this contest is top-hole, old chap!

Steampunk and Lego. Two favourites in one. I've got 3 flyers and a steam tractor already. Can't wait to submit.

I figured if I run out of "wood" coloured pieces I'd just have to post a sepia tone picture instead!

Roll on March. Oh boy, a Steampunk Firefly! Think I'll call it Inara.

Now my friend has entered, and my blog is going to hold his entry too!

I think you might want the entries on a different, newer blog post: It's getting crowded down here.....

Two done, 1 land, 1 air. May do a watery one next... Thanks for this contest by the way, it's a cool concept!

FYI, Chris - a clarification to the rules. You'll have to have us post LINKS to our pictures here, as we cannot actually upload pictures into comments. :)

I just built my webpage today.
