yeah i know its unrelated but when you said that dog 1 in 2005 advent was ace it wasnt.well not yet.might be later but not now
Uh. Right. A joke I made in 2005 didn't come true? Shocking.
Thanks so much for pointing this out, Chris. The kids and I have gotten SO tired of the City Advent (as I previously stated a few months back). Now, the trick is going to be how to get a third copy of this set, to keep all of us happy... hmmm....
I'm trilled I was able to order a set. Nice to know that a company can be responsive. I think there was a great outcry. I sure wrote in, and I was just told they got a lot of calls. But how did Brothers Brick find out about this?
judegramma:I believe the offer of these calendars to the US/Canadian audience was the result of the efforts of the LEGO Ambassadors - several of whom write for the Brothers Brick. Alternatively, they could have seen it posted at classic-castle.com; it was first announced there....
Huh. Had a 20+ converstion with a very talkative rep. Turns out that if 10+ people want a Europe only set, they can get a order in for those people most of the time. Funny too when I said my name she resopned: Oh Hi! I was just looking you up! I guess she was workin on gettin me my Racer X Helmet I reported as broken in MayKinda odd.
I thought I'd let everyone know that if you follow the instructions on Brick Brothers and have the "secret" code they still have Castle Advent Calendars! As of Monday Sept 29 at 4:40 PM. I don't think I can respond to the blog on Brick Brothers so if someone who can would like to tell them too, the rep on the phone was slightly surprised but she said tehre were still quite a few available. Can't wait to follow the Advent Madness this year!
I got mine today but it didn't have that kool wizard!! Why is that?
@anon:The wizard is a non-US impulse set. He's not part of the calendar.
