It's paradoxical, isn't it? A rotary phone (analog technology) in a BH TARDIS that is flying through the time/space continuum. I would bet even Chris doesn't know what kind of wireless hookup it's got on it. Therefore it would have to be some kind of digital technology sitting hidden somewhere. Rotary phones simply can't work in this instance as there would never be an extension cable that's either long enough or capable of reaching it through the time/space continuum.
In other words, that phone was magically placed inside the BH TARDIS using as-yet unknown technology, by some as-yet unknown being who will perhaps be revealed tomorrow.
The only real clue revealed so far is that Donut encountered the Cat-Morpheus before Whiskey showed up at the Brick House. (Or at least, he thinks he did)
Just what occurred then...has yet to be told.
Geoffrey/Anon: I know exactly how that phone works...and it's definitely not caller-ID enabled.
i just remembered that after whiskey hung up on morpheus back in strip 251, a black cat (probably the same cat that morpheus #2 turned into) appeared twice as day lights savings times occurred (before they had even seen the first morpheus.
if this isnt making any sense to anyone please tell me, i just got up like 5 min. ago and i might still be a little loopy.

Wouldn't it be nice if they had caller ID on that particular phone?
They would then be able to tell for sure who it's actually from.
All they do is run the number given through an internet phone database to find out it's location and they have at least a clue as to where it's from.
yes, magically appearing rotary phones are often hooked up to caller iD.
moron.
i saw this one coming
also Doyle i still can't find your email
What I'm curious about is why does the black cat that is Morpheus send Donut into a panic? :P

I don't recall seeing a cat anywhere near the BH TARDIS so Donut probably thinks he did.
But who's to say it didn't sneak quietly aboard, in a way only a magical cat can do?

Is it a glitch?
Donut had diarreah and needed some Pepto-Bismol!
Okay, I just found your website this morning... and have subsequently read ALL FREAKIN' 471 EPISODES in one day!!!! It's LEGO-CRACK!!!!
Wickedly hilarious in a "Twisted Mego Theater" way... very well done!
Uncle Servo: Thanks!
Geoffrey: I've never said how long Donut was in the Advent dimension before Whiskey walked up...
Soooo... Who's on the phone?
It's killing me...
It doesn't HAVE to be someone from the Matrix, does it?
