Read the comic here.No real photo trickery in today's strip. The "flying" effect was created by holding the shuttle in my hand above the sets. Careful cropping gives a convincing "in flight" look to things.

I figured one of the two kids had to be part zombie, this is an interesting twist on the plot.

Mary-Beth is the spitting image of her father. Wouldn't you also be happy, about to experience zero-G and all that (aside from being abducted by a freakishly small cross dresser in a cool helmet)
