This is too cool.

I'm not (usually) one to brag, but this is just too awesome not to share.

I'm the subject of a very flattering interview by UK author Jude Calvert-Toulmin.
(Jude's site has some adult-oriented bits to it, so click with awareness. The interview itself is for all audiences.)

I am totally honoured that you gave such a fantastic interview! In my eyes you are a total legend. To interview such a skilled and perceptive artist on my blog has been a complete blast from start to finish. Thankyou Chris :)

Jude and Chris: very nice interview. I wonder if Chris will ever publish a photo of himself in real life?

I find myself concerned with Jude's blog page having all of that sidebar stuff on it. It took forever to scroll up/down it, and FireFox was a bit sluggish, while on most pages scrolling is as smooth and responsive as a car with power steering.

If there's anything you can do to provide a slimmed-down version of it, please do. I'm from Australia myself, and the ADSL is great, but I'm not sure all that stuff interacts as smoothly as it could. It'll also be a bit of a long wait for it to load for anyone not on an ADSL or faster link, there apparently are still people out there who haven't upgraded to broadband yet.

I thought I should let you know, although I suspect for most people with souped up PC's that they will experience few problems on that page.

hi geoffrey, thanks so much for your comments. yeah i know there's a ton of flash on the sidebars. i'm a total sucker for flash, sorry! funnily enough i was thinking today that it's time to edit the blog into a stripped-down version. the web page i've designed and coded for the new publishing site is really really simple by comparison.

well if my book is a success and i ever come over to the US to do a book tour then i'll invite chris along to the michigan gig and grab a sneaky shot of him at the book signing, deal? :)

by the way as most of the viewers of the article have been from the USA i thought i'd better explain that a sarnie is british slang for sandwich :)

> Woo! Free publicity across the Big Pond! :)

for both of us, wink! :)
