Episode 487

Read the comic here.

No, I'm not thrilled with the Ted minifigure either. The fact is, LEGO just doesn't make a hairpiece or face that does him justice. I tried using the new "medium bob" black hairpiece from the new Indiana Jones sets...and ended up creating a perfect Jordan from Real Genius.

But Ted...well, I guess we'll just have to get used to him.

Time, I think, to see if adding more chili does anything. :D

I'm not sure this new persona will be of much use to them. If they could get him a persona more suited to fighting robots maybe they'd stand a chance of living to talk about it afterwards.

How long are we going to be on this current part of the chapter, and when do we get a look at these robots their guests are going off to fight? I'm interested to see what they're up against.

I quite liked the idea of this motley crue fighting robots, but so far it seems more talk than action. Bring it on! ;)

You should find some way to let Keanu get better, but don't give him enough, so he only gets mostly better, and you end up with this.

(Then have the Brick House crash into the Jet Car.)

Finding the right minifig parts to put together might be a lot easier if someone took the time to catalog all of the minifig faces by expressions and general description. There's a huge load of "scruffy" and other kinds of minifig heads but it's so scattered over the catalog I don't see how anyone could find all the possibilities unless they were mapped by someone or something.

It's almost worth making your own custom minifigs.

Okay, any skepticism I might have had over seeing Ted-"Theodore"-Logan-dressed-as-Han-Solo evaporated the instant I read the line "How's it goin', web comical dudes?" -- I almost spewed my Dr. Pepper over my desk (which would not be a good thing as I'm processing employee time sheets today).

Fortunately I had put down said Dr. Pepper by the time I got to Cowboy Curtis' comment... :)

Now all we need is a phone booth with George Carlin (dressed as the conductor for Thomas The Tank Engine)...

Ah, Jordan, that actress is definitely a footnote in cinematic history. Her whole film career seems to span five years, per imdb.com

I could use the character to sand a few floors, though.
