My original plan was to spend a week or so finally filling in the gaps in our heroes' backstory. I've had that background written for ages; it was one of the first things I put together. I've always been fond of stories where you start "in media res" and slowly learn what happened beforehand. But I had to have that "beforehand" mapped out to prevent my screwing things up as I ad-libbed my way into the future. (If you don't, you end up with insane crap like Vader building 3PO.)

Anyway. I was all set to start the week long flashback-to-the-unknown, when Whiskey decided he wasn't going to put up with it anymore.
