Read the comic here.
Actually, most of the excuses Kent gave are valid. If you read the blog, you know I've been busy at conventions for the past few weeks - where I came down with a terrible case of ConCrud. And then had to go back to work anyway to face all the stuff I'd missed because I was off on vacation. And then the ConCrud won, and I went home sick on Friday, and spent the weekend trying to recover.
In other words: Real Life got in the way.
Despite still being sick, I did get a bit of work done on the strip over the weekend - we should be back to a nearly daily schedule now.
Thanks for your patience, and for those of you who took the time to write nasty blog comments about what I did choose to post? May the fleas of a thousand camels infest your armpits.

Wonderful. Hope you get better! :)
I would like to say that I have been reading your comic for over a year now (starting back at the beginning and catching up to the present) after someone sent me a link to a Lego church and that person had a link to your website. I find the comic funny, entertaining, and (when it was posted every week day) one of the very first things I would look at on the internet in the morning. :) It would give me something nice to look forward to before an annoying day at work (at home now, about to have a baby), so thank you. I know that it is a highly underappreciated job that you do creating this comic, but there are people who appreciate it like myself. :) Feel better soon!
thanks too chris. I actually started reading beacause of the castle "airport" plot arc. its also a part of my routine. thanks a lot for making my day that much funnier and get well soon.
PS Chrome Vader better make an appearance in the comic
@honestchick:
Thanks. :) It's a sad truth that while people are quite likely to fire off an irate comment or email, they'll rarely take the same time to share the positives. And while I do like to take the occasional pot-shot at the naysayers, I do realize there's a decent sized group of folks who do just enjoy the comic for what it is.
And, at the end of the day, I take the time to put the strip together for people like you.
Thanks for reading.
Was the Chrome Vader a joke or did you finally get one?
Real life takes precedence -- glad to hear you're feeling better and squeezing in some time for the strip!
It takes money to produce this "comic"? I figured you were flush with cash after winning that big fancy award earlier this month.
You know I'm kidding of course. Hopefully the con crud will clear up soon.
