It's there in panel 2 as well, you can just see the edge of it to the right behind King Juan. The angle of the photo is just different than the others in the set.
We should work out some kind of agreement to not use the same heads for different characters in our comics. I keep looking at that vader head and thinking that it's Gigaro with a wig. o_O
That'd be pretty tough, considering the scant amount of heads out there. (In Mary Beth's case it's genetic - she shares a face with her father, Zombie Wash.)

Where, precisely, did the banana even come from? It's not in any of the past strips, so the only explanation I can think of is that the "Iron Owl" contains for some reason a stash of bananas. Or perhaps one of the spectators, disappointed with the lack of action, threw it?
