No, I haven't forgotten about this contest, and neither should you:
I'll be making use of a suggestion from the comments and creating a NEW BLOG POST on the 1st where everyone can start sharing their entries. Later, I'll be taking those entries and compiling a standard entry grid like I've done for the past few contests (mainly for our judges' convenience.)
I'm looking forward to what everyone has come up with!
So will there be reasonably clever judges for our entries or will they be judged by the steampunk people.

I'm looking into a way to do a "fan favorite" award as well - but we had problems with adding a poll to this blog service in the past. So maybe not.
I've done my second, but my friend just won't e-mail me....

ReplyDeleteI got thinking about who "the Steampunk People" might be, and decided to ask one of the best Steampunk designers out there to judge for us.
I got lucky and he said "Yes."
I figured he meant the person who made the FBTB Steampunk challenge.

ReplyDeleteYeah, I realized that, too. I did ask the guys who ran the first contest before I started my own - trying to be polite and all. But this contest is otherwise separate from their efforts.
